It is with mixed feelings and optimism that we sadly announce the departure of Bobby Kirk from the Smooth Opinion Band. Bobby and Cathy have decided to open an exciting new chapter in their lives and move away from PA.
Robert "Bobby" Kirk is a founding member of SOB along with Jim Long back in 2014. Bobby has provided outstanding lead and backing vocals, rock-solid percussion, and handled bookings for the band.
Through several lineup changes, an ever-expanding repertoire of great music, and the crazy curve balls this world has thrown at our society over the last few years, Bobby has proven to be a sound foundation for SOB's success to this point.
We Sincerely wish Bob and Cathy the best of luck out there, and firmly look forward to the first of their many visits back to PA.

Dave Rife, from Highspire PA, begins performing with Smooth Opinion in January. An accomplished percussionist, Dave has played in several bands. He also owned and operated Rifes Drum Shop.
